Located on the south slope of Mount Rosa, founded in 1200 by some Walser colonisers, nowadays Alagna is very important for the ecomuseum in Valsesia thanks to its rock ovens, to its mills and thanks to the old sawmill.

Must see: the Church dedicated to San Giovanni Battista, the Castle, Henricis' house and the Walser ecomuseum.
